y muchos por ende dudan o no creen.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>Agreg\u00f3 que respecto a &#8220;El Tordo&#8221; hay hechos irrefutables, como la Guerra de Reforma, en la que particip\u00f3 en guerra de guerrillas; el enfrentamiento del R\u00edo Calabozo y la batalla de Tampico, en donde tambi\u00e9n&nbsp; participaron muchos huejutlenses.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>A pregunta formulada, refiri\u00f3 que a Reyes Cabrera se le inici\u00f3 a rendir honores a partir de 1940, casi un siglo despu\u00e9s de la gesta, que no fue una batalla como se dice, sino acontecimientos propios de esa \u00e9poca como fueron las guerras de guerrillas en contra de franceses.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>Para concluir, Mart\u00ednez Flores refiri\u00f3 que los homenajes a el h\u00e9roe local fueron prohibidos porque estaba muy arraigado el problema con la familia que se dice fue protagonista en el desenlace de la confrontaci\u00f3n, hasta que en 1940 el Congreso del Estado decret\u00f3 que la poblaci\u00f3n perpetuara su apellido, por lo que se le puso su nombre a un &#8220;pedacito&#8221;
